This year, the 3rd Annual Northwestern State University Flute Festival and the Lousiana Flute Society join forces for a special weekend flute celebration extravaganza. Registration is now open for the festival, all masterclasses and competitions.

We are excited to welcome superstar Demarre McGill as our guest artist along with many other fantastic performers and professors for concerts, workshops, masterclasses, competitions and exhibits from your favourite specialist flute shops and makers. It’s going to be an incredible event. The festival also launches the first ever Intercollegiate Flute Choir of Louisiana.

Hosted at the beautiful NSU campus in historic Natchitoches, Louisiana (famous for being the set of the movie Steel Magnolias) and with one of the most amazing recital hall acoustics in the country.
